Mish Mosh and a Must See Shop

Hello lovelies! Its quite a busy week over here. How bout you? This post definitely represents my thought process right now – scattered! Here’s a sampling of things past, present and coming up from the road that I thought you might enjoy and be inspired for your upcoming weekend.

I came across this oversized lacquer vase at Z. Gallerie. I think it would make a mighty fine lamp base with a big bright kelly green or navy shade.

A couple of fabrics I logged that I think would make excellent “mixers”.

An Atlanta design institution, Bungalow, was having a sample sale that I happened to stumble upon. That gentleman is so nice there, always.

Wish the sold sign read Schoenberger! This is exactly the dresser I want for our bedroom. Antique, knotty, heavily waxed pine.

This gothic beauty was still up for grabs…

This next picture is simply titled “WILL POWER”.

Bold and brilliant Milly cocktail dress with “European vacation” written all over it.

Ran into the Hob Lob to pick up some artwork (they really do have great deals on framing) and came across these large and in charge lanterns. The hook alone is worth the money. I picture them mounted on a very rough hewn wood wall made of pallets. Get crazy and make the wood a herringbone patterned. OH to be crazy.

A shot of the artwork for the third and final beach house install (on my way as we speak, no rest for the wicked!) hence why its still wrapped in plastic.

The print was approx $25 from Urban Outfitters and speaks so sweet…

That Isak knows what he’s talking bout.
Add it to the piles that have accumulated everywhere in the home. Sure hope it fits. I’m looking forward to five hours in the car resting my brain doing nothing but driving, listening to music and catching up with my girlfriends. Where do I sign?!
While at the beach last Christmas, I came across this retro TEN DOLLAR (!!!) beauty. I adore her cracked out finish as she hangs brightly (a little Mazzy Star reference for ya) over my breakfast nook table complete with remote control LED candles. Those things are the bomb, esp the ones with timers (in the event you’re having a really good time and forget to shut em off because you know you will be!).
I’ll be taking a break from styling and profiling to visit the Coastal Living Idea House and will be sure to report back with my findings! The interiors are designed by the uber talented Erika Powell. She’s so amazing. Here’s a teaser photo sent to me from one of my buds.
I’m already digging the outdoor drapes with their Greek key trim.

Reminds me of the Viceroy Palm Springs (this is actually a subliminal message in case any of my college roommates are reading…pick me, Palm Springs!).
For the locals, I finally ducked into Urban Farmhouse for a look see. I like and think you will to!

Bells and whistles went off when I finally found someone who stocks TALL SKINNY BIRCH LOGS! I’ve been crushing for these to put inside large urns and flank an entryway somewhere in mi casa or clients. Cut in half, they’re the perfect scale. Yes.

Cute wicker cake stand. Did you just picture a pile of cinnamon sugar spice donuts here? I did. Fall is definitely on the way.

Stumbled upon a cute couple, two of you…

Paired with me…livin in perfect harmony…

Precious. So happy for these people that I do not know.

I might make a nice focal point and I’m totally reclaimed (always a winner).

A vision of blue, gold and mesh all over, resting on a fabulous Dash and Albert rug.

The Urban Farmhouse is a great place for gifts. Love this cheese board with some girth.

You all have probably noticed these around. Such a cute company that makes all kinds of great table setting paper products but I especially like the black ones. I thought how cool, like nine of them all framed, hanging on the wall, repeated, repeated, repeated. Or maybe something sweet written in the center of each, or numbered, or a peace sign, or a cross, or whatever. You know those rough hewn gray wood frames at Hobby Lobby? I bet they’d look great inside them.

Came across this $167 desk at The Home Depot. Some Paris Grey and I’m a show stopper or maybe a high gloss white, whatever your poison.

Out of focus but not out of reach! This was nice, deep and oversized.

Love the new ring pulls but I wish they came in antique brass too (darn it).

And just in case you’re sitting around thinking your current living arrangement small, think again. I came across this title in one of my mags and couldn’t agree more. There’s something about small spaces that make us feel safe, cozy and comfortable. Embrace it.

Well my friends, here’s to a productive week and a stellar weekend to you all! I can’t really see straight right now but I just couldn’t leave you hanging this week without an update. Work is a blessing. Life is a blessing.

Raise em up…chin chin!
